Christmas in Kernville begins on Thursday, November 29th when Hoffman Hospice celebrates "Light Up a Life"  at 5:30pm.  This is Hoffmann's annual holiday fundraiser and remembrance ceremony, to remember loved ones who have passed, and will take place at Big Blue Bear and Circle Park.  To order a light for $10, call Marci, 661.410.1010.

The Kernville Chamber's Candle Stroll, Caroling, and Live Nativity will take place on Friday, November 30th, at 6pm in Circle Park.  The caroling is led by the Kern Valley Sweet Adelines and the live nativity is performed by Mt. View Baptist Church of Lake Isabella.  Dress warm and come celebrate the holiday season with friends and family!

Christmas in Kernville wouldn't be complete without Santa!  With the help of the Kern River Hotrodders, he will arrive in Circle Park on Saturday, December 1st, at 5pm, after the car parade at 4pm.  Santa will visit with the children until 9pm and there will be hot apple cider and cookies for all.  To add to the festivities, the Kernville Chamber's 4th annual Christmas Shop Hop will take place on this same evening from 5-8pm.  Businesses not located in Circle Park will set up in the Oddfellows Hall so there will be LOTS of places to shop!  There will be music, raffles, and refreshments to enjoy while you "shop local" in a beautiful Christmas atmosphere.
